In New Haven, one of Connecticut’s most exciting food cities, Ankit Harpaldas is looking to disrupt traditional Indian cuisine.

Harpaldas’ Sherkaan Indian Street Food, which opened in April, is hoping to change the game, presenting innovative and “totally bindaas” food — borrowing Hindi slang for “chill” or “the coolest.”
