(WTNH)–A lot of people around New Haven today will be getting into the holiday spirit while shopping local. Today is “Small Business Saturday,” and Shana Schneider joined Good Morning Connecticut to talk more about how you can snag the perfect gift while staying local.
The following events and offers will be available on Saturday in New Haven:
-Popcorn and Small Business swag giveaways at the INFO New Haven Center at 1000 Chapel St.
-Gift with purchase and special offers at Downtown retailers, courtesy of Town Green District.
-Roaming greeters with special offers for customers with a shopping bag from any retailer at The Shops at Yale – $10 gift cards to retailers, or $5 gift cards for hot chocolate at Blue State Coffee.
