NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH)–Holiday spirit was in full effect in downtown New Haven on Black Friday. The Shops at Yale were bustling with people, as several free events brought the crowds to the area. Ice carving and horse and carriage rides were offered, and Black Friday deals of course at those stores.
It was the place to be in the Elm City on Friday.
“My iPhone broke and I ended up getting a new one, so it worked out pretty well,” said Susan Zea of New Haven.
