NEW HAVEN >> The newest jewel on the downtown food scene specializes in New Orleans cuisine, and owner Kim Soto emphasized at Monday’s grand opening that she designed the “Queen Zuri” eatery to feel like a home in every way.
“When you come here it’s like you’re coming into my home,” Soto said, referring to the food, attitudes and ambiance.
She may call out to a customer, “Hey John, come get your food,” and that’s OK, she said, because “It’s not that serious, we’re only serving food.”
